I provide individual mental health counseling for individuals with a variety of disorders.  Diagnosis and symptoms I address include but are not limited to:  anxiety, ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder), OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), panic attacks, depression, Bi-polar I and II, schizophrenia, schizoaffective, and personality disorders such as Borderline, Avoidant, Dependent, Obsessive Compulsive, etc.  Adjustment disorders to life's transitions such as grief and loss issues, life changes in career, health, and relationships can also be addressed. Learn skills to overcome life's problems such as trauma, intergenerational shame, communicating effectively, acceptance of the problems that cannot be changed, tolerating the stresses in life, and developing or reconnecting to the wisdom that will help your life run smoother.

I have a variety of techniques to use which I have picked up in my mental health career that began in 1990, including Somatic Experiencing (SE) techniques which will assist in the resolution of trauma. I "braid" together CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and SE techniques in sessions.  Braided ropes are stronger than single strand approaches.
